I’m Dianna Peña — designer, planner, and unapologetic observer of light, texture, and story.
I built The Vow Haus from a gut-deep belief that a wedding should belong to its place — to the land it touches and the people who fill it with love, laughter, and meaning.
With a background that’s equal parts design junkie, floral alchemist, and logistics whisperer, I bring creative direction with bite and execution that actually delivers.
You might know me from Palo Verde Party Rentals, the desert dream machine. That chapter taught me how to build beauty from the ground up — how to let landscape lead design and how to turn sunlight, stone, and story into something unforgettable. The Vow Haus is the next evolution of that work: an elevated planning studio crafting destination-style weddings across Southern and Northern California.
For nearly a decade, I’ve designed weddings that feel like they grew straight from the earth — natural, intentional, and effortlessly cool. My compass has always been curiosity: a love for wild spaces and the people who find each other in them.
Today, our work moves fluidly through California’s landscapes — from the sun-bleached stillness of Joshua Tree to the mist-wrapped cliffs of Big Sur, the vineyards of Napa, and the redwoods that stretch toward the sky. Every celebration is shaped by its surroundings, guided by design, and built with soul.
Founded by a planner with deep roots in design and landscape, The Vow Haus blurs the line between editorial and elemental. We don’t just plan weddings — we curate rituals, scenes, and sensory moments that could only happen once, in that exact place, with you at the center.
Our philosophy is simple:
Place — as muse and guide.
People — with stories worth celebrating.
Design — that speaks in texture, tone, and timeless detail.
Whether your vows unfold beneath the desert sun or under a canopy of redwoods, The Vow Haus will help you create something sacred — wild, romantic, and entirely your own.
Every love story deserves a setting as soulful as the vows spoken within it. At The Vow Haus, we plan and design destination weddings that are deeply rooted in place — from the golden hush of Joshua Tree to the lush rhythms of Costa Rica. We create experiences that feel timeless, natural, and entirely your own.
With a focus on intentional design, personalized ceremony, and the emotional power of landscape, our weddings are more than events — they’re immersive celebrations of connection. Whether you’re dreaming of a desert elopement or a jungle gathering, we’re here to craft something that feels grounded in beauty and rich with meaning.
At The Vow Haus, we offer full-service wedding planning for couples who want more than a beautiful event — they want an experience that feels personal, immersive, and effortlessly true to them.
Whether you're exchanging vows beneath the wide skies of Joshua Tree or under the rainforest canopy of Costa Rica, our planning process is grounded in logistical clarity. We work closely with you to curate a celebration that reflects your values, your style, and the energy of the land you're marrying on.
We guide you through every step — from venue sourcing and vendor management to travel coordination, design direction, and day-of execution. We believe in honoring place, slowing down to savor the moment, and creating weddings that leave lasting impressions.
If you're seeking a destination wedding planning partner who values intimacy, artistry, and wild beauty — you're in the right haus.
Working with Dianna, a talented Costa Rica Wedding Planner, was hands down the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. From the first moment we spoke, she brought such warmth, calm, and clarity to what felt like an overwhelming journey, especially for destination weddings. What stood out most was how genuinely she cared about how we felt, making us feel seen and celebrated throughout our elopement in Costa Rica. The celebration was beautiful and full of heart. We are forever grateful for her expertise in luxury wedding planning and cannot recommend her enough. - Nick
